Job Summary

Own content-led SEO growth for ecommerce by researching keywords, topics, and clusters; creating and Optimising content; and turning data into a content strategy that feeds cross-functional teams.

  • Content Strategy & Creation: Build pillar pages, articles, and product descriptions that rank and convert.
  • On-Page & Internal SEO: Apply meta tags, headings, internal linking, and UX-aligned content tweaks.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify relevant keywords, topics, topical clusters and pillar pages, and search trends.
  • Create high-quality content including articles, landing pages, and product descriptions.
  • Optimise content using SEO best practices (on-page SEO, meta tags, headings, internal linking).
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and social media teams to align content with brand strategy.
  • Conduct content audits and update existing content to improve rankings.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO).
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure all content is original, consistent in tone, and aligned with brand voice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or SEO content creator.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research and the E-E-A-T framework.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and CMS platforms (e.g., Surfer SEO, Shopify and Framer).
  • Experience of SEO techniques, Internal Linking Strategies.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into content strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of content marketing strategies and digital marketing.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and how they relate to content.
  • Experience in ecommerce, writing content that ranks on Google increasing Domain Authority.
