Job Summary

Own end-to-end SEO client programs with data driven strategy, delivering measurable ROI through roadmap ownership and cross functional collaboration.

  • Responsibilities: Own the account roadmap and SEO deliverables, driving strategy, priorities, and ROI with data from GA4 and GSC.
  • Content and outreach: Lead data led content, technical audits, migrations, and digital PR to lift visibility and traffic.
  • Measurement and storytelling: Monitor AI powered search experiences, report outcomes, and translate insights into the roadmap for senior stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships, managing calls, reporting, and delivering proactive recommendations tied directly to business goals.
  • Own the account roadmap, setting strategy, managing priorities, and executing SEO deliverables with precision and consistency.
  • Produce QBR analysis and strategic presentations that communicate opportunity and direction clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Carry out ongoing research and analysis to uncover new opportunities, feeding insights back into the roadmap to keep strategies current and commercially focused.
  • Develop and execute data-led content strategies, briefs, and topical authority campaigns across a range of client verticals.
  • Support outreach, digital PR, and link-building initiatives, leveraging AI for ideation, prospecting, and efficiency.
  • Conduct technical audits with clear, commercially-grounded recommendations; create dev briefs for complex challenges including migrations, JS SEO, hreflang, and structured data.
  • Monitor and analyse how clients and their competitors appear across AI-powered search experiences, identify opportunities to improve visibility, and build this into the wider account roadmap with clear reporting back to clients.
  • Set up and manage keyword tracking, performance reporting, and analysis across GA4, GSC, and other leading SEO and AI visibility tools, turning data into clear client stories and ROI narratives.
  • Use AI daily to accelerate workflows, research, and strategic analysis, applying your own expertise and judgement to drive better outcomes for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with SEO team members, contributing to internal training and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with paid and cross-channel teams to build integrated strategies that maximise client results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in SEO account management with proven end-to-end portfolio ownership across multiple accounts and client verticals.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including audits, migrations, hreflang, international SEO, JS SEO, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
  • Understanding of off-page SEO activities and digital PR as commercial growth levers, with hands-on experience desirable.
  • Strategic, data-led mindset that builds from first-hand data, presents analysis at the right level, and translates SEO into clear commercial impact.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of client business goals, ROI tracking, and the ability to articulate the value of SEO to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills, organised and proactive with a consistent standard across every account and deliverable.
  • Strong client communication, clear and confident with the ability to handle queries diplomatically and independently.
  • Hands-on AI proficiency with daily use of AI tools and strong critical thinking to evaluate and refine outputs.
  • Familiarity with GA4, GSC, and other leading SEO and AI visibility tools. CMS experience across WordPress and Shopify a plus.

Preferred

  • Growing knowledge of the AI search landscape, including how AI-generated responses work and how brands can improve visibility within them.
  • Experience presenting to senior or C-suite stakeholders internally or externally.
  • Experience representing an agency or brand at industry events or webinars.
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to team development.
