Job Description

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Creative Strategist, you’ll lead the strategic lifecycle of Cisco's brand activations—from campaigns to events to product experience—to ensure every moment resonates with our audience.
  • You’ll pinpoint friction points in the market to uncover unique compelling tensions that only Cisco can resolve.
  • You’ll empower cross-functional teams to scale brand stories that feel equally relevant in a boardroom and magnetic in a 10,000-person arena.
  • You’ll pivot seamlessly between design critiques, financial reviews, research analysis, and strategic planning and keep the team on track.
  • You’ll seek the "why" behind every creative decision and refuse to settle for surface-level solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy or brand management at a global agency or large-scale enterprise.
  • 5+ years of proven experience leading brand campaigns and experiential marketing that builds brand equity in hybrid ecosystems.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience navigating budgetary and operational realities for large-scale marketing projects.
  • 5+ years of translating sophisticated technical or B2B concepts into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, global organization requiring cross-functional consensus-building.

Preferred

  • Direct professional experience living or working in non-US markets.
  • Deep experience collaborating with non-marketing stakeholders like messaging, product design, and researchers
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive evidence-based decision making
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to adapt global narratives for diverse international audiences.
