Own media outreach and story sourcing for a higher education brand, turning press opportunities into measurable awareness and stakeholder insights.

  • Media Relations: Build journalist relationships and identify opportunities for coverage.
  • Content Sourcing: Source stories, case studies, and insights across the business.
  • Performance Tracking: Track PR results and report insights to stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write and distribute press releases and PR content
  • Build relationships with journalists and stakeholders
  • Identify media opportunities and newsjacking moments
  • Source stories, case studies and insights across the business
  • Track and report on PR performance

Requirements

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines
  • Media relations experience
  • 2+ years in PR or similar role
  • An enhanced DBS is required for this role
