Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public relations and communications strategies to promote SureCare's domiciliary care services and enhance the organisation's reputation.
  • Create and manage communication campaigns across the company website, social media, newsletters, printed materials and other digital platforms.
  • Produce high-quality press releases, articles, case studies, client stories and promotional materials that accurately represent the organisation's services and values.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local media, NHS organisations, GP practices, hospitals, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), local authorities, charities, community organisations and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Organise and coordinate community engagement events, health awareness campaigns, exhibitions, recruitment events and networking opportunities to raise awareness of the company's services.
  • Support recruitment marketing by promoting employment opportunities, employer branding initiatives and career campaigns to attract high-quality care professionals.
  • Coordinate internal communications to ensure employees remain informed of organisational developments, policies, achievements and key business updates.
  • Monitor media coverage, social media engagement and public feedback, preparing reports and recommendations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage media enquiries and coordinate communication responses during service changes, incidents or reputational matters to protect the organisation's public image.
  • Work closely with operational managers to ensure public communications accurately reflect the quality, safety and person-centred nature of the care services provided.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
  • Experience in public relations, corporate communications or stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel communication campaigns.
  • Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience managing websites, social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and prepare management reports.

  • Bachelor's (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • 75% (preferred)
  • Understanding of the health and social care sector, CQC-regulated services and community engagement would be advantageous.
