Job Summary

Own the media relations and content support for UK PR with exposure to international accounts, delivering on messaging, briefs, and stakeholder touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases, media pitches and briefing materials
  • Build and maintain media lists and journalist relationships
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate media coverage
  • Support multi media content creation across digital and social platforms
  • Assist with copywriting, content planning, and delivery
  • Support award submissions and research relevant industry opportunities
  • Assist with identifying and coordinating speaking engagements for clients
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of events and stakeholder engagement activity
  • Support guest list management, logistics, supplier coordination, and event administration
  • Support day-to-day account management and client servicing

Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience within a UK-based PR firm, preferably focused on strategic communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • An interest in current affairs, political, business, media, and international affairs
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Roxhill, Meltwater, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI assisted productivity tools
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development
  • A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Politics, International Relations, or a related field is preferred
