Job Summary

Own native advertising execution and optimization from target setting to creative iteration, with a clear line of sight into revenue impact and cross-team collaboration.

  • Campaign ownership: Manage native campaigns end to end across multiple networks and scale winning creatives and copy.
  • Analytics & storytelling: Pull CTR, CVR, and revenue signals and translate them for non specialists.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Partner with MVF teams to fix blockers, surface opportunities, and drive performance improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Campaign management: Running Native Advertising campaigns; building successful marketing campaigns from scratch, including engaging ad copy or creative, relevant audience targeting and long-form copy writing on advertorials.
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills: Using a variety of data sources to analyze ad performance data, e.g Click Through Rate, Conversion Rate, and how they impact revenue and profit. As well as communicating Native metric performance to non-specialist stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with other MVF teams, keeping them up to date with campaign performance and any issues or opportunities you or your team have encountered.
  • Commercial awareness: Demonstrating a deep knowledge of the commercial factors behind the marketing, and being comfortable explaining to others what impact these factors have on performance.
  • Producing killer marketing content: Producing marketing creative, copy and other content to tight deadlines, whilst thinking outside-of-the-box to come up with the next big creative win.
  • Experimentation: Designing A/B experiments (using Optimizely) to improve our advertorial pages’ performance and drive client results.
  • Problem solving: Showing a creative and proactive approach to problem solving, and being able to explain your logic to different stakeholders.
  • Ambition and drive: Demonstrating a strong desire to drive to be world class - through setting and achieving ambitious targets, and taking opportunities to learn more about technical aspects of the role.
  • Technical knowledge: Proving a thorough understanding of our marketing platforms, both theoretical (how the platform/auction works) and practically (how to do more complex tasks).
  • Team work: Working alongside other executives and specialists to test new platform features, share creative ideas, and work together to solve complex campaign problems.

Requirements

  • A passion for digital marketing with 1-2 year of hands on performance marketing experience (bonus if you have experience using Taboola or Outbrain!), including implementation of optimization activities and tests
  • Logical problem solver with evidence of strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Commercially savvy and able to define and prioritise high-value tasks effectively
  • Passionate about delivering world-class ad content, both through visual design and copywriting
  • Seeks to learn every day and helps to improve the team and the company, with a proactive and independent approach to working life
  • Readily delivers and receives constructive feedback to improve performance
  • Energetic, bright & proactive
  • Experience using Taboola or Outbrain (nice to have)
