Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the GM in developing suitable content for marketing and communications.
  • Assist the student committee with communications and website management
  • Design data-driven campaigns using the best media to boost brand awareness and increase revenue.
  • Track engagement metrics, audience growth, and sentiment across platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and our Website.
  • Evaluate content monetization strategies, optimize video SEO, and monitor analytics to maximize ad-based income.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and strategy.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics to assess marketing effectiveness and guide budget allocation.
  • Align marketing efforts with product launches and sales targets to drive conversion and customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • Strong media planning and media strategy skills, with experience coordinating campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for press releases, social posts, and member outreach.
  • Research skills to identify media opportunities, understand audience trends, and evaluate campaign performance.
  • Marketing experience, particularly in event promotion, audience engagement, and brand positioning.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and basic analytics tools; familiarity with content management systems is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage overlapping deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and to represent the Union professionally in external communications.
  • Experience in media, communications, marketing, or a related field; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience is advantageous.
