Job Summary

Own local marketing operations that connect the plan to practical execution, with emphasis on handling requests, coordinating campaigns and events, and measuring impact for continuous improvement.

  • Local ownership: manage local marketing requests, liaise with central marketing, and ensure proposals are communicated internally.
  • Event and partnership support: plan, deliver, and review local events and partnerships that feed into the national calendar.
  • Measurement and feedback: track local activity, share progress, and drive post activity evaluation to optimize future tactics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Marketing Plan – both current and future, and work with the team to support its implementation
  • Support the Marketing team in the implementation and communication of tactical activity as required.
  • Be the initial recipient of local marketing requests that come through either by Email or our Intranet (from Dealerships) and liaise with the Marketing team to communicate proposals within the internal team.
  • Take responsibility for the measurement and feedback of local marketing activities, keeping colleagues informed of progress, completion and post activity evaluation.
  • Support the planning, delivery and review of events as required e.g quarterly events to support plate-change activity, product launches in the planning and motor-shows.
  • Support the planning and implementation of partnerships and competitions.
  • The role is responsible for supporting the implementation of all elements of the marketing mix including campaigns, events co-ordination and production of marketing materials across all relevant aspects of our business. In particular the job holder will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of local marketing requests and in supporting our marketing and event calendar at a national and local level.

Requirements

  • Degree level education or a recognised qualification in marketing
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • IT skills – including confident handling of Excel spread-sheets and Microsoft Word
  • Experience of proof reading with meticulous attention to detail on proposed content for both on and offline execution, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • The ability to manage time effectively to minimise inefficiency, maximise productivity and ensure cost efficiencies where possible.
  • The ability to work confidently within a very busy team, some of whom will frequently be working remotely.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
