Job Summary

Own the marketing, communications, and fundraising agenda to raise awareness, boost engagement, and support income generation for LRSN, while upholding brand integrity and audience-informed delivery across channels.

  • Strategic leadership: oversee marketing, communications, and fundraising functions to align with charity objectives.
  • Brand and content governance: ensure audience-led messaging, data-informed decisions, and consistent materials and campaigns across channels.
  • People and opportunities: manage the Fundraising Manager and translate opportunities into high-impact programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • develop and deliver a marketing and communications strategy that raises awareness of LRSN's work, increases engagement, and supports income generation and service delivery, across the activities of the charity.
  • oversee high standards of brand management, content, printed and promotional materials, events and campaigns across all channels, ensuring communication are audience led, data informed, and aligned to LRSN's values and objectives.
  • have strategic oversight of all marketing, communications and fundraising functions, both internally and externally
  • line manage the Fundraising Manager.

Requirements

  • Experienced Marketing & Communications professional.
  • strong creative and copywriting skills.
  • excellent people skills.
  • strong project management and organisational skills.
  • sharp eye for detail and huge levels of enthusiasm.
  • ability to spot and develop opportunities.
  • ability to create high quality graphics, blogs, social media and campaigns.
  • flair for storytelling and crafting communications across all types of media.
  • self-motivated, reliable, and a hard worker.
  • experience and a strong track record of working in a marketing and public relations role.
  • comfortable with flexible working hours including occasional weekend working and evenings with the event programme.

Benefits
