Job Summary

Drive multi-channel content and press coordination to support a UK energy-transition marketing program, focusing on consistent brand storytelling, reactive PR, and event-ready materials for local site campaigns.

  • Own cross-channel content cadence: LinkedIn, website, and A/B copy tests to sustain a cohesive drumbeat.
  • Coordinate press outreach and trade publications to raise project visibility and media coverage.
  • Surface market and engagement signals from policy news, community input, and event activity to steer content and campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and scheduling LinkedIn content, maintaining a consistent brand voice and posting drumbeat, and supporting A/B testing of copy across social and website channels.
  • Helping coordinate press activity — briefing notes, coverage tracking, journalist outreach support, and pitching to trade publications (Logistics UK, Fuel Oil News, sector-specific EV and freight press).
  • Monitoring relevant industry news and policy developments for reactive PR opportunities, and surfacing engagement insights to inform content strategy.
  • Supporting the production of sales and marketing materials — brochures, one-pagers, event assets — working with designers and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Maintaining and updating website content, including site-specific pages as new hubs are announced.
  • Helping prepare materials for planning-stage community engagement around new sites — FAQs, leaflets, questionnaires, engagement inboxes — and monitoring local news and social media around active planning processes.
  • Supporting logistics and materials preparation for industry events and conferences, and coordinating post-event follow-up.
  • Assisting with demand research and data gathering to understand the local commercial vehicle market around each site, and compiling marketing performance reports and coverage trackers.

Requirements

  • Entry-level role
  • strong academic record, ideally with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • strong writing skills — clear, purposeful, and adaptable to different audiences and channels.
  • organized, detail-oriented and reliable, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once.
  • proactive and self-starting.
  • fluent in AI and automation tools and curious about how technology can unlock better ways of working.
  • genuine interested in the energy transition with a pull towards clean energy, transport, or infrastructure.
  • evidence of the right to work in the UK at the expected start date of the role.

Preferred

  • Experience with PR coordination or communications.
  • Experience in the energy sector or infrastructure.
  • Experience with community engagement campaigns.

Benefits

  • Annual performance bonus of up to 15%.
  • Workplace pension scheme and private health and dental insurance.

Aegis Energy

The commercial fleet industry faces a complex challenge. As the UK works towards ambitious net zero targets, the pressure to decarbonise is mounting. At the same time, consumer expectations for fast, flexible service delivery have never been higher. A successful transition to zero emission transport will depend on a critical factor: reliable public infrastructure. Aegis Energy is empowering commercial fleets to make this shift by building the first network of clean, multi-energy hubs across the UK. Our mission is to make the transition energising; not overwhelming. We are providing operators with the power of choice - enabling them to decarbonise on their terms, with the flexibility to future-proof their operations and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market. By working closely with operators, we ensure they have the solutions they need to focus on what they do best: keeping vehicles and supply chains moving. From strategically located hubs and high-speed refuelling, to best in class driver welfare facilities, we’re not just accelerating the decarbonisation of commercial transport – we’re helping fleets stay ahead of the competition, win customers and retain drivers.
