Job Summary

Own the day-to-day marketing support for a charity education program, balancing social, paid ad, content, and event promotion with fast turnaround and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate multi-channel activity across social, ads, email, and content to support courses and workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with the Communications & Marketing Manager and another assistant to keep newsletters and site content up to date.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will be working directly with the Parents 1st UK Communications & Marketing Manager and another Marketing Assistant to assist with managing social media channels and paid ads, writing and uploading content to the website, collating information for monthly newsletters, creating images/videos, and promoting courses, workshops and other events.

Requirements

  • at least 1 years’ experience in marketing
  • An all-rounder – you must have experience of social media, paid ads, email marketing, copywriting and asset creation
  • An individual with a high level of attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
  • A confident communicator with excellent IT skills
  • Someone who is well organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Hours: 15 hours per week (hours can be worked flexibly, but must include Tuesdays and Thursdays)
  • Location: Essex (home-based with occasional travel across Essex)
  • This is a fixed term contract to September 2027 to cover maternity leave
