Job Summary

Own end-to-end rail marketing content and materials, turning technical specs into clear, on-brand assets and guiding campaigns across digital, print, and live events.

  • Brand and asset ownership: create brochures, presentations, exhibition graphics, and promotional literature that stay on-brand.
  • Content operations: update website content, manage social channels, and support exhibitions and events with consistent visuals.
  • Technology & ethics: use AI tools to boost productivity and ideation while ensuring accuracy and quality in all outputs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging marketing materials for digital and print media.
  • Design brochures, presentations, exhibition graphics and promotional literature.
  • Undertake research on locomotives and rolling stock to produce technical data sheets in a clear, professional format.
  • Assist with the management of the company's social media channels and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Produce graphics and visual content that supports the ROMIC Group brand.
  • Update website content and assist with marketing communications.
  • Support exhibition and event planning.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, generate creative concepts and support content development while ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure all marketing materials remain consistent with company branding.

Requirements

  • A keen interest in railways, both UK and internationally, together with an understanding of how railways, locomotives and rolling stock operate.
  • The ability to research technical specifications and present complex information clearly and accurately.
  • Good photo editing and graphic design skills with an excellent eye for layout, typography and visual communication.
  • Experience of using social media professionally to promote brands and engage audiences.
  • A good understanding of the appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve workflow, support research and generate creative concepts
  • Good experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.

Preferred

  • Experience within the railway industry.
  • Video editing and content creation experience.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms.
  • An understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Curious and eager to learn.
  • Creative with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiastic about both railways and marketing.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Professional with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
