  • Partnerships and audience targeting: build media partnerships and segment audiences to tailor reach beyond owned channels.
  • Measurement and optimization: track performance, interpret results, and iterate to lift registrations and awareness.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns — email, digital, social, and content — to drive visitor registrations, leads, and brand awareness for Australian Healthcare Week
  • Write compelling copy for emails, social posts, the event website, and promotional materials that make people want to attend
  • Build and manage a portfolio of media and industry partnerships — identifying, approaching, and negotiating with associations, trade publications, and sector bodies to secure promotional support, content sharing, and audience access that extends the reach beyond our own channels
  • Manage campaign timelines: coordinate activity across multiple workstreams simultaneously, hitting deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Analyse and optimise — track campaign performance, interpret the data, and adjust your approach to improve results
  • Work closely with the project team to understand the event and communicate its value to the right audiences
  • Manage databases and audience segmentation to make sure the right message reaches the right person at the right time
  • Maintain brand consistency across all event collateral, communications, and digital channels
  • Own your campaigns — your activity, your metrics, your results

Requirements

  • Creativity and commercial instinct.
  • You can write well, think about audiences, and understand what makes someone click, open, or register.
  • Attention to detail. Nothing goes out without being checked, and you’re the one who checks it
  • Organisation. You can manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously without losing track
  • Analytical curiosity. You’re interested in what the numbers are telling you and you want to use that to do better
  • Strong written communication. Clear, engaging, and able to adapt tone for different audiences and channels
  • Confidence with outreach and relationship-building. You’re comfortable approaching people you’ve never met and making a compelling case for why partnering with the event makes sense for them
  • Energy and initiative. You don’t wait to be told; you see what needs doing and you do it
  • A collaborative mindset. You work well with producers, sales teams, and operations to get the best outcome for the event
  • 0–3 years of career experience (entry-level/open to recent graduates)

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or social media is an advantage.

Benefits

  • Structured onboarding and training — you’ll learn how B2B event marketing actually works, not just the theory
  • Real ownership from day one. You’ll run your own campaigns, not just assist on someone else’s
  • Clear career progression into senior commercial and marketing roles
  • Exposure to C-suite audiences and major organisations across the healthcare sector
  • A high-energy, collaborative team. We work hard, we move fast, and we enjoy doing it
