Job Summary

Own the community and creator-relationship flywheel for an indie studio, turning player chatter into fans and wishlist momentum.

  • Discord & community governance: build a frontline presence, engage players with weekly devlogs, and cultivate loyalty.
  • Content hooks & social velocity: turn raw gameplay into viral 10-second moments that lift retention and reach.
  • Creator outreach & partnerships: identify niche streamers, send personalized offers, and nurture authentic relationships.

Job Description

  • The Gig: You are our frontline. You’ll build and manage our Discord, reply to players with wit, create engaging weekly devlogs/questions, and turn casual scrollers into die-hard fans.
  • The Gig: We give you raw gameplay, funny bugs, and dev screen-records; you turn them into viral 10-second gold. You know exactly what a visual "hook" is and how to keep viewer retention high.
  • The Gig: Reddit hates ads, but they love good indie games. Your job is to post highly satisfying, high-quality gameplay GIFs in the right subreddits (r/IndieGaming, r/RPG_gamers) without sounding like a corporate marketer. You operate in the shadows.
  • The Gig: You’ll track down niche Twitch streamers and YouTubers who love our specific genres. You’ll write them personalized, honest emails offering game keys and building real relationships, not just sending cold, boring blasts.
  • The Gig: Gamers click on capsule art, not code. You’ll design our Steam capsules, social media templates, and cross-promo banners. You’ll also help optimize our Steam tags for maximum algorithmic reach.
