Job Summary

Own external communications and cross‑team storytelling to shape Oxford’s science-to-impact narrative and partner engagement.

  • Campaign and content ownership: drive integrated external programs across media, digital, and social channels.
  • Media and reputation management: coordinate with agencies to raise profile and protect credibility with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Content and calendar discipline: maintain visual storytelling and a rigorous content calendar to keep audiences engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver external communications that enhance visibility, credibility, and engagement.
  • Deliver integrated external communications campaigns aligned to OUI’s strategy.
  • Create high-quality content across channels including media, digital, and social.
  • Manage OUI’s social media platforms and drive engagement through insight-led content.
  • Work with media and PR agencies to build profile and manage reputation.
  • Collaborate on visual storytelling and maintain the content calendar.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues and build strong relationships across OUI, the University of Oxford, and external partners
