Job Summary

Own and coordinate regional proactive communications across the UK and EMEA, turning business activity into external storytelling that resonates with national, business, entertainment and culture media.

  • Storytelling ownership across UK/EMEA and the yearly calendar of proactive campaigns.
  • Media relations and narrative development to secure consistent coverage of leadership, people and business.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Marketing to surface opportunities and align messages with priorities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own proactive storytelling across UK/EMEA and lead year round campaigns that shape how Live Nation and Ticketmaster are seen externally.
  • Manage the storytelling calendar and day to day campaign delivery with cross-functional input.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Social and internal teams to surface opportunities and ensure alignment with priorities.
  • Develop and pitch local market stories with regional impact across national, business, entertainment and culture media.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships; identify opportunities, draft pitches and place stories about leadership, people, and business.
  • Draft and edit proactive communications materials including pitches, briefing notes, messaging, statements and Q&As.
  • Support media monitoring, analysis and reporting to track sentiment, impact and opportunities.
  • Coordinate campaign planning around major announcements, partnerships and cultural moments.
  • Surface stories from media monitoring, social listening and business activity to inform proactive comms.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across reactive, proactive and stakeholder communications in partnership with Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic communications, brand storytelling, corporate communications or editorial/media relations within a regional or multi-market environment.
  • Strong background in crafting narratives and placing stories with top-tier media.
  • Skilled at media engagement and developing long-term journalist relationships, not just short-term coverage wins.
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills, with the ability to shape on-brand copy that resonates across audiences.
  • Good understanding of media monitoring tools, reporting metrics and PR performance evaluation.
  • Understanding of how social media trends, cultural conversation and audience insight inform proactive communications.
