Job Summary

Own media relations, brand positioning, and cross-team strategy to boost market visibility and client engagement, aligning thought leadership, digital presence, and award submissions with business plans and key client programs.

Media relations and opportunities: steer high-impact placements and opportunities for visibility.
Brand and digital strategy: shape external narrative and online presence across clients, partners, and sectors.
Strategic planning and client engagement: craft strategic plans at client/sector/practice levels and manage client listening programs.

Job Description

Manage relationships with the media and seek out the most appropriate opportunities
Drive the positioning of our brand through client service and thought leadership
Create and manage the strategic business plans at a client, partner, sector and practice group level
Manage the firm’s key client relationship and client listening programmes
Create and implement the firm’s digital strategy
Provide strategic advice and co-ordination on pitching opportunities and manages the rehearsals process
Work with our research team to produce and analyse companies, sectors and countries
Work with the knowledge team on submissions to the main legal directories/awards and advises practices on how best to promote their capabilities
Manage the production of bulletins and briefings from the conceptual stage through to distribution
Deliver events that enhance our brand and provide opportunities to build relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and the press

Degree or further education qualification in Marketing, Communications or other relevant subject
Computer literate – competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Confidence and good personal presentation
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
