Job Summary

Own the digital comms flow for a community health service, shaping how people hear about support and how it is shown online.

  • Content and video: Create and edit authentic stories from service users to drive awareness.
  • Campaign ownership: Build social and digital campaigns to highlight alcohol and drug issues and available help.
  • Collaboration and events: Coordinate with partners and represent the service at community events to share messages.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit digital content, including videos that share the experiences of people accessing our services.
  • Develop your own social media and digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness of drug and alcohol-related issues and the support available.
  • Work with communications colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate campaigns and share key messages.
  • Attend community events to promote the service and engage with local audiences.

Requirements

  • A qualification in Media, Communications or a related subject (equivalent to NVQ Level 4), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong content creation skills.
  • Experience creating and editing video and image content.
  • Excellent organisational, written and presentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in digital communications, marketing or social media.
