Local Partnerships - the public sector delivery specialistsLocal Partnerships is a joint venture between the Local Government Association, HM Treasury and Welsh Government. We help the public sector deliver projects and change at the local level. We provide an interface between central government policy and local delivery to ensure key priorities are achieved and clients secure excellent value for money. We are a hands-on organisation and work collaboratively for the benefit of our clients, often sitting alongside project teams, rather than providing advice from afar. We bring public and private sector experience that provides confidence, additional capacity and commercial capability. We provide trusted, professional support and advice across multiple disciplines including regeneration and housing, waste, infrastructure, mergers and shared services, developing commercial capability and integrating health and social care. We help the public sector explore alternative local government models as part of devolution discussions and financial restructuring, formal collaboration and merger, acting as independent broker between different parties. We provide support for the production of business cases for councils wishing to invest in energy, housing and social investment as part of their commercial-led strategies. Our team of experts works solely for the benefit of the public sector, helping councils and combined authorities overcome challenges and improve their chances of success.
