Job Summary

Own and lead content strategy and production across B2B/B2C channels, driving campaigns, product messaging and thought leadership while collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Operations to generate traffic, leads and engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Impactful content: Craft impactful campaign and product messaging across channels including the website, blog, product pages, email, social media, print, digital ads, and email newsletter to drive high-quality traffic and leads.
  • Project management: Lead, guide and manage content requirements from the Business and Home Growth marketing teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaboration: Create SEO-driven content in collaboration with the wider team to support both Marketing and PR objectives.
  • Data insight: Apply insights to optimise content performance and ensure best practices are consistently followed.
  • Strategic thinking: Leverage B2B & B2C content marketing strategies, particularly within the solar and energy sectors, to build engagement and establish thought leadership.
  • Partnership: Collaborate cross-functionally to create content aligned with growth objectives across all stages of the sales funnel.
  • Brand voice guardianship: Ensure all content is written in the Good Energy tone of voice to increase trust and recognition.
  • Social media: Supporting on content creation across our social channels

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills, with experience collaborating closely with subject matter experts to generate ideas, translate complex topics into straightforward language and create different content outputs for different channels.
  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of working effectively across multiple teams, including Sales and Operations, to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to work swiftly and accurately while keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the process.
  • A passionate and driven individual with great attention to detail. Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the resilience and energy to deliver high-quality work first time.
  • Proven experience in developing compelling product benefit messaging and fully substantiated marketing claims.
  • Experience developing content across multiple formats – from snappy social assets to long-form thought leadership process
  • A proven ability to take complex subjects and turn them into simplified content that’s tailored to the target audience and channel.
