Job Summary

Own the content strategy and client delivery, turning business goals into SEO‑driven content plans and continuous performance improvements.

  • Content Strategy Ownership: Translate goals into high impact content plans and audits to close content gaps.
  • Client Partnerships: Lead strategy reviews and KPI‑driven storytelling to drive retention and growth.
  • Team & Process Leadership: Mentor Content Specialists and improve cross‑team workflows for integrated campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Content Delivery
  • Develop and deliver high-performing content marketing strategies which align to client objectives.
  • Translate business goals into commercially focused content plans that drive visibility and engagement.
  • Analyse campaign performance, identifying opportunities to continuously improve results based on data and insights.
  • Conduct and oversee content audits, competitor analysis, keyword research, SERP analysis and content gap analysis.
  • Ensure all content output meets exceptional quality standards and follows SEO best practices.
  • Be Client Focused
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
  • Lead strategy reviews, present recommendations and communicate performance in a clear, commercially meaningful way.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure campaigns are delivered effectively against agreed objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a Content Strategy, Content Management or similar senior content role.
  • Strong technical understanding of SEO and search-led content marketing.
  • Proven experience conducting keyword research, content audits, competitor analysis and performance reporting.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent client-facing, account management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience presenting strategies and performance insights to clients with confidence.
  • Outstanding organisation and project management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align content strategy with business objectives.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for digital marketing.

Preferred

  • Previous agency experience, ideally with SEO or search marketing.
  • Experience leading, mentoring or training team members.
  • Knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar SEO platforms.
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent qualification.
