Job Summary

Own the visual storytelling and content engine for Gleneagles retail, coordinating shoots, social channels, and website copy to deliver a premium, editorial experience that grows audience and drives online shop sales.

  • Content & Editorial Ownership: Plan and execute retail shoots, curate mood boards, style scenes, and direct photographers to build a cohesive, editorial retail narrative.
  • Social and Website Craft: Create high-quality social posts and update on-site copy/images to reflect evolving boutique offerings while managing timely updates.
  • Production & Operations: Oversee budgets, schedules, props, and cross-team coordination to ensure smooth production from planning through delivery.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Launching and owning our new retail social Instagram account, driving key KPIs including follower growth and increased online shop sales
  • Planning and executing monthly retail photo and video shoots
  • Developing mood boards and creative direction for all content
  • Styling retail products and scenes with a strong editorial sensibility
  • Capturing a mix of film photography and digital imagery with photographers
  • Creating and strategically scheduling engaging, high-quality social content across channels
  • Producing self-shot, reactive, ‘on-the-fly’ content to keep the channel dynamic
  • Responsible for our retail website pages, you'll ensure each one is current, accurate and reflective of the evolving boutique offering
  • Managing a dedicated budget, including tracking spend and raising POs
  • Sourcing and curating props to elevate the visual storytelling of wider Gleneagles shoots

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience working across content and/or editorial, with an excellent command of English and enjoy copywriting social captions, website landing pages, blogs and editorial copy
  • Strong background in photography and content creation, comfortable to self-shoot and select, brief, manage and direct photographers and videographers from pre- to post-production
  • Refined eye for style, branding and visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of how to grow and maintain a premium Instagram presence
  • Creative, proactive and highly organised, able to bring ideas to life through engaging content while managing deadlines, budgets and independent projects
  • Experience across Trello, Later, Canva and Google Analytics
  • Highly motivated and pride in work; delivering high standards for guests in line with Gleneagles brand
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong team player with great communication skills, well organised and punctual
  • Desire to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
