Job Summary

Own the end-to-end content and social marketing engine for a public service, turning multiple channels into a visible, trusted voice and measurable impact.

  • Content and Campaign Ownership: Build and publish content across channels, lead digital campaigns, and coordinate social programs with data-driven tweaks.
  • Audience & Insight Loop: Gather user, stakeholder, and staff feedback to prove outcomes and guide iteration.
  • Visibility & Partnerships: Expand online presence through partnerships, community engagement, and trend-led ideas.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write creative, engaging, and impactful content for a wide range of communication channels and audiences.
  • Raise the profile of the service through targeted marketing, promotional activity, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support the administration, maintenance, and development of online resources available to people accessing our services.
  • Collate service user, stakeholder, and staff feedback, sharing insights internally and externally to demonstrate impact and outcomes.
  • Develop, schedule, and post regular content across social media platforms, researching content ideas and emerging trends to maximise engagement.
  • Create and deliver digital marketing campaigns to promote services, events, achievements, and key organisational messages.
  • Manage and grow the organisation’s social media presence by increasing reach, engagement, and audience interaction across multiple platforms.
  • Produce a range of digital content, including graphics, videos, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor social media and website analytics, evaluating campaign performance and using data-driven insights to improve future content and marketing activity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase online visibility through digital marketing, social media advertising, partnerships, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience of using online applications and tools
  • Technological knowledge, including working knowledge of different social media channels
  • A creative approach to finding new and innovative digital solutions
  • Highly organised
