Job Summary

Own the Bristol Goose & Gander store and community program, driving local partnerships and events to lift footfall, loyalty, and sales while coaching a high performing team to deliver standout service.

  • Face of the brand in Bristol; lead store culture and community activations against local partners.
  • Plan and host in store events and collaborations to boost visits and engagement.
  • Own sales, KPIs, and profitability by turning feedback, merchandising and events into better customer experiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Become the face of Goose & Gander within the Bristol community.
  • Build meaningful relationships with local customers, universities, creatives, cafés, fitness studios, charities and businesses.
  • Plan, organise and host regular in-store events, workshops, launches and community activations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our local presence through partnerships and collaborations.
  • Create excitement around new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Gather customer feedback and community insight to help shape future initiatives.
  • Lead the Park Street store, creating a positive, ambitious and inclusive culture.
  • Recruit, train and develop an exceptional retail team.
  • Coach the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences every day.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor and set the standard for service and brand knowledge.

Requirements

  • An experienced retail manager or senior retail leader.
  • Passionately about building communities and creating memorable experiences.
  • Confident leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of delivering sales growth.
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys networking and creating partnerships.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Creative, energetic and full of ideas.
  • Passionate about fashion, lifestyle and community-led brands.
  • Flexible to work weekdays, evenings and weekends when required for events.

Preferred

  • Experience organising community events, brand activations or local partnerships would be highly desirable.
