Job Summary

Own the face of Maeme on social by shaping short form video ideas, acting on camera, and driving engagement with food-focused content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Content Ownership: Produce and appear in branded videos, promos, and store-opening clips to showcase menu items and franchise benefits.
  • Audience & Channel: Narrate and perform for audience on TikTok, Reels, Shorts with scripts and trend hooks; suggest funny concepts and trends.
  • Collaboration & Tools: Partner with campaigns and content creators, leverage on-site filming at London locations, and iterate based on audience feedback and performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Create and appear in Maeme’s videos; promote offers; present food items.
  • Act in funny short clips; record store opening videos; explain franchise benefits.
  • Support marketing campaigns; help create content ideas.

Requirements

  • Minimum: GCSE English or equivalent, confident spoken English, good communication skills.
  • Preferred: Media, drama, acting, performing arts, marketing, journalism, or content creation qualification.
  • Plus Food hygiene awareness, customer service experience, and basic knowledge of TikTok/Instagram trends.
  • Acting or presenting experience
  • Comfortable speaking on camera, smiling naturally, showing emotion, and following a script.
  • Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook videos and YouTube Shorts.
  • Experience with restaurants, food reviews, hospitality, takeaway brands, or promotional videos.
  • Able to film inside restaurants, outside stores, with customers, staff, and food.
  • Can suggest funny ideas, trending sounds, hooks, and short video concepts.

Preferred

  • Preferred: Media, drama, acting, performing arts, marketing, journalism, or content creation qualification
  • Food hygiene awareness, customer service experience, and basic knowledge of TikTok/Instagram trends
