Job Description

Responsibilities

Create and drive messaging for the AWS worldwide SLG/EDU business, including our value proposition, customer promises, and reasons to believe that we'll highlight across GTM and marketing activities
Shape our GTM strategy for SLG/EDU, partnering with sales, GTM, and product management teams to develop ideal customer profiles, priority use cases, and differentiators for products focused on state/local governments and education; defining best practice architecture and services for each use case
Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback) to shape portfolio strategy for AWS offerings, identify new product opportunities, and accelerate adoption of existing AWS offerings
Lead product launch plan and execution for new offerings focused on government and education, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles
Develop technical content including customer stories, keynotes, presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate public sector customers on AWS offerings
Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions
Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
6+ years of direct experience working in federal government, defense, education, or healthcare institutions
6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud architectures in technical domains (e.g., Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI)
Demonstrated experience creating technical content and delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences

Preferred

MBA, or Master's degree
Experience developing go-to-market strategies for technical products
Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures
Strong data analysis skills with ability to synthesize insights from multiple source
Experience presenting to executive-level audiences and industry analysts
