Job Description

Responsibilities

Own Saath’s positioning, messaging, brand identity, and go-to-market strategy.
Develop and publish creative content for Instagram, TikTok, and other growth channels.
Design campaigns and experiments that grow awareness, waitlist sign-ups, and adoption.
Conduct user, market, competitor, and audience-segmentation research.
Translate customer feedback and performance data into product and marketing recommendations.
Collaborate with engineering, AI, product, and design on launches and feature roadmaps.
Create launch materials, partnership narratives, pitches, and brand collateral.
Help recruit and develop a 3-5 person marketing team.
Activate your personal and professional networks and represent Saath authentically online.
Work beyond a narrow job description, learn unfamiliar skills, and adapt quickly as the company grows.

Requirements

At least one year of industry experience in digital marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience with Instagram and TikTok strategy, content creation, and audience growth.
Strong writing, storytelling, communication, and brand-building skills.
Experience with market research, positioning, campaigns, analytics, or experimentation.
Working familiarity with modern creative and AI tools such as Figma, Adobe, Claude, Higgsfield, and ElevenLabs.
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to operate outside your existing skill set.
Strong connection to South Asian communities and creative ideas for reaching them authentically.

Preferred

Advanced technical ability, experience with agentic coding tools, or familiarity with product development is a plus.
Experience in marketing consumer technology, dating, social, community, or culturally focused products is a plus.
Candidates located in or near major South Asian metropolitan communities—such as NYC/NJ, Dallas, San Francisco, or Chicago—are preferred.

The idea of SAATH started when eleven students with educational background in social work started a small project to support women and children living with HIV & AIDS. The success of the project motivated these students to continue working for social change. The group continued to work in different fields as a voluntary-based organization with youth-based projects in issues related to marginalized communities. This has included issues related to HIV and AIDS, Drug Use, Child Rights, LGBTI and elderly.From 2012, SAATH took the next step. SAATH then decided to direct its focus on education, socialization and capacity building for children and girls who belong to marginalized communities. In addition, their approach of working also includes creating awareness & advocacy through different programs.
