Responsibilities

Lead digital marketing initiatives across paid media, social platforms, email, influencer and creator programs, online communities, and emerging channels.
Develop campaign concepts and creative briefs in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
Partner with authors and agents on campaign strategy, platform growth, and reader engagement.
Build strategic toolkits to engage communities across nonfiction categories.
Collaborate with Editorial, Publicity, Sales, Publishing, and other teams to align strategy and execution.
Create customized marketing plans that identify target audiences, key messages, channels, partnerships, and opportunities to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
Manage campaign budgets, paid media, timelines, and external vendors.
Track campaign performance and market trends, using insights to optimize strategy.
Test new platforms, technologies, and audience-development strategies to evolve book launches.
Support seasonal planning, sales presentations, launch meetings, and imprint-wide marketing initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in book publishing, marketing, brand management, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge and genuine interest in nonfiction and thriller titles.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with authors, agents, colleagues, and external partners.
Highly organized project manager who can prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Keen attention to detail.
Must be well-organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
Proven success in digital marketing, social media campaigns, and social media outreach.
Must be a creative and strategic thinker, as well as assertive and persuasive.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
