Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead national retail marketing initiatives aligned with NPB's strategic priorities.
Identify growth opportunities across supermarkets, mass, club, specialty, and other retail channels.
Develop go-to-market strategies that increase pork volume, value, and consumer demand.
Build relationships with retail customers, manufacturers, processors, distributors, consultants, and industry associations.
Translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable marketing strategies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated demand generation programs.
Develop business plans, manage budgets, and measure ROI.
Represent NPB at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Lead and develop assigned team members and cross-functional project teams.
Monitor marketplace trends and competitive proteins to identify opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Agricultural Business, Communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
8–10 years of leadership experience in retail marketing, retail sales, channel marketing, business development, or related food industry roles.
Proven success developing go-to-market strategies and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and strategic planning skills.
Experience managing budgets, evaluating ROI, and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce or other CRM systems, and presentation tools.
Knowledge of the pork industry or retail food supply chain is preferred.
