Job Summary
Owns a high leverage PPC pod with end-to-end Google Ads for select clients while coaching the team to lift overall performance.
- Owns and scales a reduced but strategic Google Ads book; guides Account Managers and ensures SLA-driven outcomes.
- Analyzes metrics and delivers interpretive reports with actionable recommendations to improve client ROI.
- Monitors SOPs and process health; leads rollouts of workflows and hires/coaches up to seven AMs.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Owns a reduced PPC book end-to-end for own clients and guides pod Account Managers.
- Develops and adjusts Google Ads strategies from data and business objectives.
- Exercises independent judgment planning and prioritizing deliverables across the team.
- Analyzes team and client-level metrics and prepares interpretive reporting with recommendations.
- Makes autonomous decisions on strategy direction within Company guidelines and manages client expectations.
- Identifies upsell/cross-sell opportunities and coaches Account Managers to do the same.
- First point of contact for Account Manager escalations on payments, client elevations, and technical issues; personally handles high-stakes situations.
- Monitors Account Managers' Slack responsiveness and call quality, auditing against the company’s standards.
- Ensures SOP adherence, monitors process health, and surfaces broken processes to management.
- Documents updated SOPs when processes change.
- Leads rollouts of new workflows and tools and owns pod adoption.
- Tracks and reports pod-level metrics monthly.
- Performs additional reasonable duties requiring strategic thinking, leadership, and discretion.
- Leads a team of up to seven Google Ads Account Managers, directing and coordinating their day-to-day work.
- Coaches and develops Account Managers through weekly 1:1s, role plays, and growth planning; reviews work, calls, and deliverable quality.
- Onboards and ramps new Account Managers and leads ongoing PPC/LSA education for the pod.
- Provides recommendations on hiring, evaluation, promotion, discipline, assignment, and termination - including interview participation.
- Flags to management when the team is at capacity and additional Account Managers are needed, and surfaces underperformers who may warrant termination.
- Allocates and reassigns accounts and distributes work across the team.
