Support website content audits and inventories, helping identify outdated, redundant, missing, or underperforming content and turn findings into recommendations
Draft and edit web content using audience insights, search and performance data, content strategy, and brand guidelines
Help map and structure content for modular, component-based websites, considering how copy, UX, design, and functionality work together
Enter, organize, and track content in content management and workflow systems, maintaining the documentation and resources that keep complex website projects moving
Help prepare research, findings, examples, and materials for client presentations and workshops
Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with content strategists, UX and visual designers, developers, project managers, and clients
With guidance from a senior content strategist, take ownership of a small content strategy assignment or recommendation from research through final deliverable

Requirements

Are a strong writer, editor, researcher, and communicator
Are organized and comfortable working with detailed information
Enjoy figuring out how information should be structured, simplified, and presented
Ask thoughtful questions and are eager to learn new tools, systems, and processes
Can manage multiple small assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate when you need help or clarification
Are seeking or have recently obtained a degree related to websites, UX, content strategy, digital communications, nonprofit communications, writing, editing, or related fields
Experience with content management systems, analytics, SEO tools, website projects, or digital communications is welcome but not required. We care more about curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
