Drive city communications by creating content for multiple platforms and coordinating with departments to promote programs.

  • Own content creation for city platforms and liaison across departments for events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creates original content (video, photography, social media, website) to promote city services.
  • Liaison to various city departments, supports special events, collaborates with Communications team.
  • Promote programs by responding to media, writing releases, updates, and public service announcements.

Requirements

  • Kno wledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in communications or related field

Preferred

  • Advanced media monitoring with campaign impressions across platforms and analytics for evaluating strategies.
  • Advanced digital content management for tailoring content on websites and social channels.
  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
