Job Summary
Own the communications industry strategy and value narrative, translating market needs into differentiated Pega capabilities, and partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Strategy to accelerate pipeline with credible industry insights.

- Go-to-Market Partnerships: Collaborate across orgs to craft plans that accelerate pipeline and win deals.
- Industry Insights: Equip sellers with case studies and value propositions that position Pega in target accounts.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Drive industry strategy and thought leadership for Communications, shaping where our technology delivers maximum value and competitive advantage.
- Develop messaging that resonates with Communications organizations using relevant use cases and language.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Strategy to create GTM plans that accelerate pipeline.
- Curate industry insights with case studies and value propositions to position Pega in target organizations and accelerate pipeline.
- Identify legacy transformation opportunities in Communications, presenting POVs on modernizing ERP/SAP, CRM, network management, billing, and supply chain.
- Create approaches to showcase Pega's differentiators, defining key functional areas where we deliver value.
- Represent Pega at industry events, with analysts, trade press, and alliance partners.
- Bring credibility to client interactions, executive presentations, and BD activities to drive growth.
- Partner with product to embed Communications best practices into key capabilities, including GenAI Blueprint.
- Support alliance partner initiatives through joint GTM, solution development, and content creation to expand our reach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15+ years of experience within the Communications industry or equivalent experience in selling or consulting to organizations in these industries
- Expert understanding of the Communications industry and related markets, including software and technology usage
- Keen understanding of strategic concerns of the Communications industry, ideally related to operational processes, supply chain management, and digital transformation
- Strong leadership and executive engagement skills, especially in matrix environments
- Demonstrated analytical expertise, problem-solving skills, and business judgment
- Strong knowledge of and/or background in technology and emerging technology
- Ability to translate business knowledge of the Communications industry into software market value proposition and strategy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to articulate the benefits and value of technology to customers in the industry
