Job Summary
Own the thumbnail design for YouTube videos and work with strategy on titles and visual hooks, then test variants to decide what sticks while delivering on tight deadlines.
- Design Execution: Create thumbnails that match the video concept and hook.
- Strategy Alignment: Iterate on title, concept, and visual hook with the strategy team.
- Experimentation: Run A/B tests on thumbnail variants and act on results to drive performance.

Responsibilities
- Design thumbnails for every video before it ships
- Iterate with the strategy team on title, concept, and visual hook
- A/B test variants when the right call isn't obvious
- Hit every delivery deadline without quality slipping
Requirements
- 3+ years designing YouTube thumbnails specifically (not general graphic design, not Instagram, not social media)
- Photoshop fluent
- Fast turnaround under pressure
- Self-managed (we give ownership, not hand-holding)
- Good communicator, fluent English
