Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Produce engaging, platform-specific content (graphics, copy, and short-form video) that aligns with our brand voice and enhance online visibility. Develop creative marketing campaigns to promote our catering services at various events. These events will need to be attended in person, so your own travel arrangements are necessary.
• Platform Management: Oversee and schedule daily posts across all major social channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook).
• Community Engagement: Monitor channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster active discussions with our audience.
• Public Relations: Support public relations outreach efforts to help expand our brand reach and build industry connections.

Requirements

• Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred but not mandatory if studying this area.
• Strong understanding of popular social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Using AI tools and integrations is essential to the developing business. A knowledge of Adobe and Canva for marketing, signage and brand awareness is desirable. We use Square POS systems so any knowledge of this software would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable tone.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and content creation.
• Knowledge of public relations principles to foster positive brand image.
• Being able to put together proposal documents is also desired.
