Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social media program across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and more, from strategy and production to performance analysis, with direct collaboration across internal and external teams.

  • Lead strategy, calendar planning, and production for social content
  • Develop, shoot, edit and optimize short-form videos and UGC campaigns
  • Analyze performance data and iterate to improve reach and impact

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
  • Generate creative ideas and develop recurring social formats.
  • Plan and manage content calendars, campaigns, shoots and production schedules.
  • Write hooks, scripts, captions and creative briefs.
  • Film and edit short-form video content.
  • Repurpose long-form footage and existing production material into engaging social-first content.
  • Create behind-the-scenes, educational, interview, storytelling and project-focused content.
  • Work with and direct UGC creators.
  • Produce UGC-style advertising and organic social content.
  • Appear on camera when required as a presenter or personality.

Requirements

  • Essential Experience:* Experience managing social media accounts for brands, organisations, entertainment companies or businesses.* Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook.* Experience creating short-form video content.* Experience with filming and editing.* Experience developing content strategies and managing content calendars.* Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.* Experience analysing social media performance.* Excellent organisational and project-management skills.* Confidence working independently and taking ownership of projects.* A strong understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.

  • Desirable Experience:* Experience working with humanitarian, charity or disaster-relief organisations.* Experience working with entertainment brands, television or established intellectual property.* Experience creating UGC-style advertising.* Experience directing creators or managing UGC campaigns.* Experience with paid social advertising.* Experience building or marketing e-commerce products.* Experience appearing on camera.* Experience repurposing long-form footage into social-first content.
