Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Manager at Crisis leads and develops our organic social media strategy, helping more people engage with our mission to end homelessness. You will manage our main social channels, creating and delivering high-quality content that grows audiences, deepens engagement and supports fundraising, campaigning and brand objectives.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Crisis, you'll shape compelling social content, build our social media reach and use insight and performance data to continually improve results.
  • You'll also play a key role in developing our long-term approach to social media helping establish a clear vision, consistent standards and an integrated approach as part of the wider channel mix.

Requirements

  • Experience of developing and delivering successful organic social media strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Strong editorial judgement, using audience insight and performance data to create engaging, high-quality content.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, content formats and emerging trends.
  • Experience of community management and moderation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience working across teams and with external partners and agencies.
