Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Plan and schedule posts using social media management tools.
• Ensure all content reflects the company's brand identity and tone of voice.
• Monitor comments, messages and engagement, responding where appropriate or escalating enquiries to the relevant team.
• Source or create images, graphics and short-form video content.
• Promote company news, products, events and customer success stories across social media channels.
• Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
• Track engagement and basic performance metrics, providing a simple monthly report.
• Maintain a content calendar and ensure posts are published consistently.
• Work with colleagues to gather content, photographs and updates from across the business.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing business social media accounts.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Experience using Canva or similar design software.
• Ability to create attractive graphics and simple video content.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms is essential.
