Job Summary

Own and drive multi-faceted SEO programs for nonprofit clients, from technical audits to content and link-building, while managing senior stakeholders and growing client relationships.

  • Own complex audits and bespoke recommendations that drive measurable search outcomes for charity and public sector accounts.
  • Lead client conversations, present strategies, and act as trusted advisor to retain, grow, and upsell Torchbox services.
  • Build long term relationships with top-tier clients and contribute to proposals and RFP responses when needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • design, develop and deliver SEO strategy for our clients in the non-profit, health, culture, and education sectors.
  • Your work will span technical audits, content strategy, link building, keyword research and much, much more.
  • Ultimately, you’ll take responsibility for helping our clients get found, and stay found.
  • lead complex SEO audits independently and producing bespoke recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Be confident managing client accounts and senior stakeholders independently. You'll be comfortable leading strategic conversations, presenting recommendations, managing competing priorities and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Ability to build long term relationships with our top tier clients, retain and grow your client accounts and engage with our wider Torchbox services.
  • Experience supporting or leading proposals, pitches and RFP responses would be beneficial.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in an SEO-focussed role.
  • Account management in an agency environment, for example being responsible for contract renewals.
  • Experience pitching to prospective clients and/or responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs ).
  • Google Analytics, GA4, Sheets/Excel, and industry standard SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Screaming Frog

Preferred

  • Experience working for charity or public sector organisations is a bonus but not essential.
