- Carrying out on-vehicle and rig-based debugging using simulation tools, alongside logging, analysing and reporting system and vehicle data
- Defining and supporting network communication requirements, including documentation, submission into design processes and guiding approvals
- Supporting prototype and production builds, executing calibration testing, and championing system performance, standardisation and ongoing optimisation
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid background, relevant certifications, and the following key skills –
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, with relevant industry experience in automotive or advanced engineering environments
- Proven experience in data acquisition and analysis, using tools such as CANalyzer and MATLAB, within complex engineering or automotive settings
- A solid understanding of vehicle network communications, ECUs and automotive electronics, supported by practical, hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering calibration for complex, vehicle-level system attributes across full development cycles
- Hands-on experience working with mechatronic actuation systems in real-world engineering applications
- Experience planning and executing proving ground test activities, including vehicle testing and driving in a professional environment
- Clear and effective communication skills, built through experience engaging a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences and desired outcomes
