Job Summary

Own senior media strategy to translate Crisis’ homelessness work into high visibility coverage across print, digital, and broadcast and drive policy or funding impact, while building campaigns like the Christmas appeal; lead a one-person direct report and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Media Strategy Ownership: design, deliver, and evaluate campaigns that convert media opportunities into policy and income impact.
  • Campaign Ownership: run high-profile initiatives including annual appeals to grow awareness and support.
  • Team & Stakeholder Leadership: line-manage a Media Officer and align priorities across internal partners.

Responsibilities
- design, deliver and evaluate impactful media strategies to bring to life Crisis’ work, using print, digital and broadcast journalism to advocate for the solutions needed to tackle homelessness and inspire the public, businesses and politicians to join our mission to end homelessness for good.
- develop high-profile media and communications campaigns, including our annual Christmas appeal, and help to build our brand.
- Each Senior Media Officer will line manage one Media Officer.
