Job Summary

Own the voice and copy strategy across NSPCC campaigns, shaping tone, messaging, and creative delivery across channels while guiding and mentoring teams to raise the organization’s storytelling standard.

  • Write and oversee multi-channel copy, ensuring clarity and brand alignment across digital, social, print, and film.
  • Lead tone of voice and messaging frameworks, influencing creative strategy and cross-team consistency.
  • Pitch and present concepts to senior stakeholders, manage multiple complex projects, and develop others to strengthen NSPCC communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write and oversee copy across multiple channels including digital, social, print and film
  • Develop and embed tone of voice and messaging guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver creative work
  • Pitch ideas and present work confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Mentor and support colleagues to strengthen writing and NSPCC voice across the organisation
  • Lead the development of compelling creative across a wide range of projects from integrated campaigns and digital content to film, social and print
  • Help shape ideas from concept to delivery, ensuring everything produced is clear, engaging and on brand
  • Influence tone of voice, contribute to creative strategy, and support others to create better, more effective communications

Requirements

  • Experienced writer with a strong strategic mindset and the ability to work across a range of formats and audiences
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality creative across diverse channels and briefs
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Experience developing brand voice, messaging frameworks or editorial guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines
