Job Summary

Support an entry-level PR track in a fast-paced entertainment agency, turning research, drafting, and outreach into real media opportunities while learning hands-on with publicists in LA.

Public Relations: Assist with client outreach, draft pitches, memos, and press opportunities under guidance.
Research & Tracking: Identify target media, maintain media lists, pull clips, and monitor coverage to inform campaigns.
Collaboration & Operations: Work independently and with teams, update digital press kits, and manage timelines in a dog-friendly office.

Responsibilities

Work with teams of Publicists to gain hands-on experience in Los Angeles's bustling PR scene
Assist with new business development and outreach
Identify and research potential new clients and draft email outreach
Utilize social media platforms to identify rising influencers
Participate in an extremely collaborative work environment
Share ideas and suggestions through open communication
Track client press coverage and pull media clips
Conduct industry-related research for online and print publications
Draft pitches, client memos, press opportunities, and etc.
Research and pitch clients to various A-list events
Update and maintain digital press kits
Possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field
Strong writing, research and organizational skills
Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in teams
Be proactive and resourceful
Be willing to work hard
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Able to handle a fast-paced environment and take direction well
LOVE DOGS (Our office has several small dogs)

Requirements

Must be able to commit to 1-4 days a week between Monday – Friday, for at least 2 months
Intern Office Hours are from 10:00am – 6:00pm
There is street parking only for this internship
Must be able to work on-site in our Melrose office and start immediately
Internship, Non-paid position. for experience/college credit only
