Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the PR and Content teams.
  • Maintainspeaker trackers, media databases, coverage reports, schedules and sharedresources.
  • Researchindustry news, trends, organisations, potential event topics and prospectivespeakers.
  • Helpidentify relevant speakers and contributors for live content programmes.
  • Draftspeaker invitations and other routine correspondence for review.
  • Liaise withconfirmed speakers to collect biographies, headshots, session information andpresentation materials.
  • Ensurespeakers receive the correct information, deadlines and event details in thelead-up to each event.
  • Helpmaintain event programmes and speaker information across websites and otherdigital platforms.
  • Assist withcreating and maintaining stage PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support thedelivery of seminar programmes and speaker activity onsite at live events.

Requirements

  • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills, with good spelling and grammar.
  • Excellentorganisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An interestin researching new subjects, industries and trends.
  • Confidencecommunicating professionally by email, telephone and in person.
  • The abilityto work across different teams and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A proactiveapproach and willingness to ask questions, respond to feedback and develop newskills.
  • Familiaritywith Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • An interestin PR, editorial content and live events.
  • An interestin the food, drink and hospitality industries.
  • Flexibilityto attend events and occasionally work outside standard office hours.

Preferred

  • Previous experience, an internship or volunteering within PR, media, marketing, publishing or events would be helpful, but is not essential.
