Responsibilities

We are happy to announce our partnership with the Dartmouth Health Apprenticeship Program, which was designed to create a sustainable pipeline of Licensed Nursing Assistants - LNAs through apprenticeship positions. These paid positions offer structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience while students complete the requirements necessary to become certified LNAs.

Unlike a traditional nursing center-based staffing model, apprentices hired through this program will be employed with the understanding that they will support multiple nursing centers located nearby vs. a single nursing center. This will provide for a more diverse learning experience with different environments, leadership teams, patient populations, and care delivery practices all of which will help accelerate development and confidence as caregivers.

Qualifications

*Must obtain certification from a state approved certified nursing assistant program within four months of nurse aide training completion.

*Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to medical and physical needs.
