Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leading media and communications activity for Everton Women, proactively identifying opportunities to increase the profile of the team, players and Club.
  • Developing and delivering creative media strategies and campaigns that generate positive coverage and increase audience reach and engagement.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local, regional, national and international media, journalists, broadcasters and other key media stakeholders.
  • Acting as the primary media contact for Everton Women, including liaison with the Women’s Super League (WSL), The FA and broadcast and media rights partners.
  • Leading the delivery of WSL broadcast rights requirements, ensuring the Club fulfils all contractual media and rightsholder obligations.
  • Coordinating media activity around fixtures, training and key Club moments, ensuring opportunities are maximised across the media landscape.
  • Attending all Everton Women fixtures, home and away, providing comprehensive media support and liaison.

Requirements

  • You will have proven experience working in a media, communications, public relations or journalism environment, ideally within professional sport or a similarly high-profile organisation.
  • You will be a natural relationship builder who can develop trusted relationships with journalists, broadcasters and other media stakeholders, while also being confident representing the Club in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passionate about football and understands the unique opportunities and challenges within women’s football.
