Job Summary

Own the mid market marketing engine with a plan, budget oversight, and sector insight to shape OUR annual strategy and lead-gen engine.

  • Strategic Marketing: Own the annual plan and budget review with the MD while tracking SEND sector shifts to inform prioritization.
  • Creative Content & Campaigns: Drive multi‑channel campaigns and content across social, email, website, and print with consistent messaging and print-partner coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing: Building our annual marketing plan in line with business goals. Working with the Managing Director to manage and review the marketing budget. Keeping up with SEND sector developments, policy changes, and best practice.
  • Creative Content & Campaigns: Planning and delivering multi‑channel campaigns that raise awareness and generate leads, Creating compelling content for social media, email, websites, and print. Collaborating with internal teams to keep messaging consistent and impactful. Producing brochures, leaflets, and other promotional materials in conjunction with external print companies.
  • Website & E‑commerce: Maintaining and updating our website and online shop. Optimising product pages to increase enquiries and conversions. Ensuring product details, pricing, and imagery are accurate and engaging. Improving user journeys and support online promotions
  • Digital Marketing: Delivering product‑led and educational content. Running email campaigns that drive traffic and sales. Supporting basic SEO and digital advertising activity.
  • Market & Competitor Insight: Researching trends, audiences, and competitors to spot opportunities. Contributing to the launch of new products and services.
  • CRM & Analytics: Keeping CRM data accurate and up to date. Analysing campaign performance and recommend improvements. Reporting on what’s driving sales and engagement.
  • PR, Events & Networking: Organising and attending sector events and exhibitions (1–2 per year). Growing and managing our LinkedIn discussion group and professional network.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years in a marketing role with digital channel experience
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using performance data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience in marketing and PR: 2 years (required)
  • Language: English (required)

Preferred

  • Experience in education or the public sector
  • Familiarity with WordPress or WooCommerce
  • Knowledge of email tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot
  • Basic SEO and analytics understanding
  • Ability to use simple design tools (e.g., Prezi)
