Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy and Management: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. Monitor trends, optimize posting schedules, and manage day-to-day community interactions to boost follower growth, engagement, and conversions.
  • Content Creation and Production: Conceptualize, create, and curate high-quality content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and graphics that highlight our restaurants' menus, behind-the-scenes stories, guest experiences, and innovative events. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and influencers to produce authentic, visually stunning assets.
  • Campaign Development: Plan and launch targeted marketing campaigns focused on social media promotions, user-generated content initiatives, and partnerships. Track performance using analytics tools to refine approaches and maximize ROI.
  • Brand Storytelling: Craft narratives that align with Dean Banks Group's core values of creativity, quality, and innovation. Develop content calendars, write captivating captions and blog posts, and ensure all materials reflect our brand's sophisticated yet approachable tone.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyse social media metrics, audience insights, and content performance to inform future strategies. Provide regular reports to leadership on key KPIs such as reach, engagement rates, and lead generation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team for content ideation, events staff for live coverage, and external partners for co-branded opportunities. Support broader marketing efforts, including email newsletters, website updates, and PR initiatives.
  • Trend Monitoring and Innovation: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry shifts in hospitality marketing. Experiment with new formats like AR filters or interactive polls to keep our content fresh and engaging.
  • Budget Management: Oversee marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years focused on social media management and content creation, preferably in the hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences and driving engagement for brands.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut) and social media platforms/analytics (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills with an eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and innovative experiences.

Preferred

  • Experience with influencer marketing, UGC campaigns, or paid social advertising.
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing tools, and basic video editing.
  • Familiarity with hospitality-specific trends, such as sustainable sourcing or experiential dining.
  • Creative portfolio demonstrating successful social media content and campaigns.
