  • Lead event execution in collaboration with the Brand & Communities Manager
  • Shape and implement the social content calendar for LinkedIn and related channels
  • Analyze performance data and adapt strategies to improve impact

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Babble's events programme — the Brand & Communities Manager owns event strategy and direction; this role executes it.
  • Assist with logistics, administration, supplier coordination and attendee communications.
  • Manage event documentation, schedules and project plans to keep delivery on track.
  • Attend events to support setup, on-the-day running and pack- down.
  • Act as an ambassador for Babble at events — confident, front-of-house, and comfortable representing the brand to customers and prospects without direct supervision.
  • Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection and performance analysis.
  • Capture attendee and engagement data in a consistent, usable format for the wider marketing function.
  • Support development of, then increasingly help shape, the social content calendar alongside the Brand & Communities Manager — primarily LinkedIn, where our SMB IT and business-owner audience is.
  • Produce content across formats, using AI tools to speed up production.
  • Schedule, publish and monitor content across channels.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for marketing and a desire to build a career in the industry.
  • Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Confident representing Babble face to face at events, unsupervised — comfortable as the front-of-house presence with customers and prospects.
  • Confidence using social media platforms in a professional capacity, and able to write and adapt content for a professional B2B audience, not just a personal or consumer one.
  • Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day, and keen to find ways they can make your own work faster or better — this isn't a role for someone who just wants tasks handed to them.

Preferred

  • A degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related subject. We will consider other degrees but proof of interest/ experience will be a must.
  • Experience creating content for social media, whether through work, education, personal projects or voluntary activities.
  • Experience using content creation or design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, plus any exposure to AI content or automation tools (e.g. Canva AI, ChatGPT, Claude).
  • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting events, projects or organised activities.
  • Understanding of social media best practice and content planning.
  • Experience with analytics or reporting tools (e.g. native platform analytics, Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting) is a bonus, though we're more interested in the thinking than the specific tool.

Benefits

  • Company Pension
  • 22 days holiday Balance + UK Bank Holidays - with increased annual leave based on length of service
  • Life Assurance – 4x Annual Salary
  • Optional Health Insurance – Bupa
  • Optional Health Cash Plan – Health Shield
